About the Position:
This position is accountable for contributing to the success of the Company through developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving all aspects of a well-functioning quality system, as well as working to improve the quality of products and services we provide. This position works as a part of a self directed work team in a climate of shared accountability and will work closely with key members in the organization to determine and understand customer and specification requirements.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 4+ years of quality engineering or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in ISO 9001 standards and documentation.
- CQE certificate from ASQ and/or certified ISO Internal Auditor preferred.
- Strong skills and experience in problem solving, including facilitation, project management, and root cause analysis.
- Proficient with MS Office applications and capable of quickly becoming proficient in company chosen computer systems
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and capable of representing Foldcraft in a highly professional manner; has respect for the needs of others and giving information the right way, at the right time, with the right attitude
- Skilled in conflict management.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Able to work in a team environment that requires cross training, open communication, and team development activities
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Will possess a genuine ownership of our Company’s reputation, financial goals, and service goals. This requires this person to stand for servant leadership, ethical behavior, performance excellence, discipline, stewardship, and honesty.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works in both an office environment and on the production operations floor. The incumbent will be exposed to typical shop conditions: dust, noise, heat, cold, fumes. Equipment used includes PC and other office equipment as well as all general production machinery, equipment and tools. The use of personal protective equipment will be required in specific areas. The incumbent must be able to handle stressful situations involving project deadlines, multiple priorities and relationship management. This position requires frequent interaction with others and the ability to effectively work with people and teams.
